Daughter of producer Brown Bannister and the wife of Drew from Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, Ellie Holcomb is a CCM singer/songwriter who played in her husband’s band before launching her solo career. Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Holcomb began her music career in 2005 by joining her then future husband in Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors. The two married in 2006, and in 2013 the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Emmylou. Ellie introduced her solo career in 2011 with the EP Magnolia, then in 2014 she released her debut album, As Sure as the Sun. The album debuted at number 34 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
